ECS Holdings Ltd, founded in 1985, is one of the top three information & communications technology (ICT) product and services providers in the Asia Pacific. The Group has an extensive network of over 18,000 channel partners with 32 offices in six countries - China, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and the Philippines. The Group's three main businesses are Distribution, Enterprise Systems and ICT Services. Enterprise Systems provides enterprise systems tools for ICT Infrastructure. ICT Services offers design and implementation for ICT infrastructure. To enable end-to-end integration, it also offers training, maintenance, and support services. ECS represents leading ICT vendors such as Apple, BEA, Borland,Cisco, Hewlett-Packard, IBM, Lexmark, Microsoft, Oracle, Sun Microsystems and Symantec.

Senior Management

Mr Li Jialin, Chairman
Mr Li Jialin, aged 45, was appointed Chairman of the Company on 28 December, 2007. He is also the Director of VST Group Limited (BVI) and VST Computers (H.K.) Limited. Mr Li is responsible for the overall management and strategic positioning of the Group. He graduated from Tsinghua Universty of the People's Republic of China with a Degree of Bachelor of Engineering in 1983 and a Master Degree in Management Engineering in 1986.

Mr. Tay Eng Hoe, Chief Executive Office and Executive Director
Mr. Tay Eng Hoe was appointed as the Executive Director of the Company on 1 April 2000. He is also the Chief Executive Officer of the Company and a member of the Nominating Committee. Mr. Tay is the founder of ECS Computers (Asia) Pte Ltd, the Singapore subsidiary, and brings with him more than 20 years of experience in the IT distribution business. Mr. Tay has been instrumental in the establishment of the Group and has been the driving force in nurturing the growth of the Company since its inception. He is also responsible for the development of the Group's strategies and policies in pursuit of the Group's long-term expansion plans. In 2001, Mr. Tay led the Company to a successful listing in the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited. Mr. Tay sits on the board of International Enterprise Singapore.

Mr. Foong Kam Tho, Group Chief Operating Officer / Chief Executive Officer, ECS China
Mr Foong Kam Tho is the Chief Executive Officer of ECS China effective 1st January 2006. He was formerly the President of ECS Computers (Asia) Pte Ltd, our Singapore subsidiary. He joined ECS Computers (Asia) Pte Ltd in 1985 and has had more than 20 years experience in the industry. On 1st January 2008, he was appointed Acting Group Chief Operating Officer. Mr Foong holds a Bachelor of Science degree (Computer Science) from the National University of Singapore.

Mr. Eddie Foo, Group Chief Financial Officer
Mr Eddie Foo is the Group Chief Financial Controller. He is responsible for the financial management of the Group, which covers accounting, treasury, tax, financial control and reporting. Prior to joining the Group, Mr Foo worked for Dell as its Regional Controller. Mr Foo holds a Bachelor degree in Accountancy from the Nanyang Technological University and is a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Singapore.
